Joe Graham is offering underwater photography courses/seminars, for beginners to advanced from his base in Dahab. Courses are taught in either English or German and can be tailor made to suit the individuals needs. From what type of camera is best for you, to photoshop basics and printing. Currently, Joe is offering the following course
for the budding Underwater Photographer in Dahab:
Day 1.
Arrival in Sharm, Transfer to Dahab (aprox.
1hr), check in to Hotel : Check in to Dive Center
with briefing for the following days events.
Day 2.
Theory: Intro in to Digital Cameras.
-Which image format to use? ( Jpeg, Tiff or Raw?)
-Which ISO to use.
-Camera settings and how to use them
-White balance. How and when to use it
Practical part
Practice what you have just learnt with some land
based photography to help learn the settings of
your camera.
-1 underwater photography dive
Evening: Slide show of the days photo's with feedback
from Joe.
Day 3.
Theory
-White balance and the use of filters.
-Manual white balance and how to set it up.
-How to get the most out of your cameras image settings
Practical
-2 underwater photography dives to practice what
you have learnt
Evening: Slide show of the days photo's and feedback
from Joe.
Day 4.
Theory
-Pro's and con's of flash photography ( internal
or external flash)
-Techniques for optimal use of a flash
-Flash for Macro photography
-Flash use of wide angle photography
Practical
- 2 underwater photography dives to practice the
techniques you have just learnt.
Evening: Slide show of the days photo's with feedback
from Joe.
Day5.
-2 Underwater photography dives to put everything
from the seminar together.
Evening: Slide show of the days photo's with feedback
from Joe.
Day 6.
Day trip to the Coloured Canyon with the possibility
to see this wonderful landscape and to further improve
your photography skills.
Evening: Beduin dinner in the mountains surrounding
Dahab to finish of your week in style.
Day 7.
Checkout and return flight to home or stay an extra
week for more fantastic diving!
UnderwaterPhotography Course Prices
The price for this week is € 449 per person
Included in the price:
Transfers to and from Sharm, 7 night in
double room Dyarna Hotel, 7 Dives ( Tank,
Weights and transfer to dive sites), Photo seminar,
Day trip to Coloured Canyon.
Not included:
extra for single room: € 60 per person/week
International flight which we can gladly book for
you.
