Dahab and the Sinai
The small beduin Village Dahab with it´s unique topographic position as one of the most beautiful desert oasis in Sinai can be reached within one hour by car from Sharm El Sheikh International Airport. Right in front of amazing Sinai mountain ranges and beside different bays along the Golf of Aqaba, the coral reef is dropping down to 800 meters depth not far away from shore.
Divers from all over the world are travelling to Dahab.
Some years ago, Dahab was a typical back-packers village
and soon the area was well known as an "Hot Spot".
The atmosphere in Dahab is unique: Along the beach promenade
there are several comfortable restaurants in beduin style,
where you can have a "Shisha" or drink tea between
palm trees laying on simple carpets. Relaxation, diving,
holiday - all in one - you´ll find it in Dahab. Mass
tourism is not known in Dahab.
The Sinai in its origin, an unchanged world itself is belonging to the most beautiful regions in Egypt. The harmony of endless desert, stunning mountains and green oasis is impressing more than anywhere else.
